Schumer influences NYS Government Appointments, Ethics Complaint Filed

A complaint with the United States Senate Select Committee on Ethics was filed last week against Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY). The complaint states that Senator Schumer and his staff influenced the hiring and firing descsions of New York State Government employees, including faculty appointments to the State University of New York. The complainant, Dr. Brian F. McBride discovered the violations after his faculty appointment to the State University of New York was mysteriously retracted last March. The complaint seeks payment of the contract of nearly one-half million dollars.
