Week eight fill-ins
Submitted by Fantasy Football on Fri, 10/26/2007 - 10:47.
With six teams on bye and a host of skill players injured, setting starting lineups and finding roster replacements becomes increasingly difficult this week.
Teams on bye this week are Arizona, Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Kansas City and Seattle. The N.Y. Giants face Miami in London on Sunday, and it remains to be seen what effect--if any--the travel, climate and international crowd will have on the teams and players for both teams.
If you’re missing a stud or two from your lineup this week, here are a few players with good week eight match-ups to exploit:
Quarterbacks Brian Griese vs. Detroit, Ben Roethlisberger at Cincinnati, and former stud but huge 2007 disappointment Marc Bulger vs. Cleveland
Running backs Brandon Jacobs vs. Miami, Lendale White vs. Oakland and former stud but huge 2007 disappointment Steven Jackson vs. Cleveland
Wide receivers Bernard Berrian vs. Detroit, Laveranues Coles vs. Buffalo and Reggie Brown vs. Minnesota
Tight ends Heath Miller vs. Cincinnati, Donald Lee at Denver and Eric Johnson at San Francisco
