Farm subsidies info from Environmental Working Group floating in cyberspace

ShareThis

It's happened again, a big ol' story in D.C. and, really, across the country.
The Environmental Working Group, a D.C. thinktank, compiled a database on who's getting farm subsidies, how much and where they're going.
This all comes just as lawmakers are hammering away at the massive piece of legislation that is the 2007 Farm Bill in the making.
But pulling the information off the Web has become difficult to near impossible.
It's receiving so many hits that the site is running verrrrrry slowly.
Meanwhile, reporters and regular citizens across the nation are rolling the cyberspace dice with hit after hit in hopes of getting lucky at this site.
