Grand Theft Expectations
Submitted by Phil Villarreal on Thu, 03/29/2007 - 18:06.
I thought maybe I was getting too old or just worn out with video games, because I wasn't excited at all for the first glimpse at Grand Theft Auto IV trailer, which unleashed its unholy wrath on the world today.
After glimpsing that baby, my outlook has done a 180. This is a game I have to play RIGHT NOW. Waiting until October will be as tough as completing flight school on "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas." I love that it's set in a real city for the first time, and the Russian mobster angle seems intriguing. It also doesn't hurt that the graphic design is an absolute knockout. If online multiplauer co-op is included this could beat out "God of War 2," "Halo 3" and "Super Mario Galaxy" for game of the year.
