Wash before you eat that!

It's pretty easy to ask polling questions that highlight some fundamental differences between men and women. The latest poll by the Scripps Survey Research Center at Ohio University found that people generally embrace their sexual stereotypes.

Sixty-five percent of men versus 47 percent of women say they've run out of gas while driving. Men are more than three times more likely to be criticized for refusing to stop to ask directions than are women.

The poll found, perhaps, one of the reasons that women live longer than men. Sixty percent of men say they've eaten food that fell on the floor without re-washing it, compared to 48 percent of women.
