Nintendo Grows Up

Rumor has it that Nintendo's Wii may end up being a third home for Rockstar Games' much awaited Grand Theft Auto IV, due out next year. Nintendo is said to be in talks with Rockstar, and if the company's new console can land "GTA," it has an honest shot at beating out Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PS3 for winning the next generation console war. Too often Nintendo has held itself back by insisting on catering to kids while spurning adult gamers. Getting "GTA" would certainly change that perception.
Paying taxes unites us. It also divides us. People can pay five and even six times more in state and local taxes than other folks in similar circumstances making similar incomes.
