Iraq war resolution victorious over Republican opposition in House

After hours of passionate debate, the House approved a resolution to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq, leaving only a "limited presence" by April 2008.
The 223-201 vote pretty much followed party lines.
Of course, President Bush stands firmly in front of any such move.
Paying taxes unites us. It also divides us. People can pay five and even six times more in state and local taxes than other folks in similar circumstances making similar incomes.
