Ask Carley: Should groomsman wear his Marine uniform?

Q: One of our groomsmen is a Marine. Should he wear his uniform or the same tux as the other guys?

A: It's completely up to him. Members of the military often wear their uniforms to formal occasions like weddings and funerals, but he may choose not to. Just let him know you'd be OK with it so he can make the call. If you're worried about him not matching the other groomsmen, don't be. It's more important to honor your groomsman's service.
