Ask Carley: Options for bachelorette parties

Q: I'm having an issue with my bachelorette party: Two of my four attendants are under 21. One of them is my fiance's incredibly sensitive sister. How can I include her but still have fun?

A: Bachelorette parties don't have to be at bars and clubs. If you want to include all of your girls, you can pick an activity like a spa day or a trip to the beach. There are also ways to compromise: Go as a group to dinner at a swanky restaurant (where the of-age girls can order drinks) and then split up later in the evening.

Or have two parties -- the over-21 bachelorette party you envision without the younger set, and then a second one including the whole group. There are even more fun bachelorette party ideas at TheKnot.com/bachelorette.
