High speed rail is no shortcut...
Funny how California thinks it can escape its needed 200 billon dollars transportation upgrade with a 40 billion dollar rail line! What CA needs is the 200 bln PLUS the 40 billion rail line...there is no shortcut! A 40 bln rail line from nowhere to nowhere is SO SILLY.
High Speed Rail is Calculus, if simple fractions (urban rail) is too tough, then skipping to Calculus is just gonna make a big mess!
BTW, if u think that is big dollars, its puny compared to what we spent in Iraq merely killing people.
