Entrepreneur capitalizes on inaugural opportunity
With two undergraduate degrees from Howard University and an MBA from Vanderbilt, Mark Yates might seem an unlikely candidate to be hawking Obama calendars in Washington, D.C., this week.
But look again.
"Entrepreneurs are the new black," says the 42-year-old from Memphis, Tenn.
What do black people think?
DENVER -- What do black people think about this? Why do black people do that? Why doesn't the black community address this? Why haven't they fixed that?All of those questions came to mind as I attended the Black Caucus meetings at the Democratic National Convention here.
