How interesting that each of the four NFL playoff games this weekend features a rematch of games played during the regular season.
Here's a look back at the regular-season matchups and what they might have told us about the playoff rematches.

In our post-holiday tradition, here are some young athletes who are just coming onto the scene to watch in 2009. In years past, our lists have included Tim Tebow, Greg Oden, O.J. Mayo and Delmon Young. Last year's list included Terrelle Pryor, who became Ohio State's starting quarterback.

-- DID HE SAVE THE BEERS? A 21-year-old fan at an Ottawa Senators game fell about 25 feet from the upper deck at Scotiabank Place when he tripped over a purse in an aisle while carrying two beers. He was hospitalized briefly and is okay.

Former Tampa Bay Lightning coach Barry Melrose went on a Toronto radio station Tuesday and took a few more swings at the organization, including that he hopes the Lightning doesn't win another game this season. Melrose, fired after going 5-7-4 in 16 games, blasted the owners, the players and even first-round pick Steven Stamkos.
