200,000 homeless students alarm California schools

More than 200,000 of California's 6 million schoolchildren are now considered homeless. Statewide, the number of homeless children enrolled in schools grew 26 percent in 2007-08.
And some experts believe those numbers represent only a fraction of the actual population of homeless students.
