Polygamous leader Jeffs recovering in new hospital for unspecified medical issues

Convicted child bride rapist and polygamous sect leader Warren Jeffs is sedated but responsive, and expected to recover from unspecified medical problems that have sent him to another hospital in Texas, a prison official said.

Tuesday afternoon, Jeffs was moved by helicopter from the East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas, to a Texas prison hospital 200 miles away in Galveston.
