Editorial: Happy Bill of Rights Day

On Dec. 15, 1941, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt by proclamation celebrated the first Bill of Rights Day. It was the 150th anniversary of the ratification of those first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution, amendments that spelled out our freedoms as well as our rights.

Editorial: Adam Walsh did not die in vain

Even in closure there is a hint of bitterness to the 1981 abduction/murder case of Adam Walsh. The Hollywood, Florida, police chief announcing the official conclusion that a known, convicted killer dead since 1996 was responsible for taking the boy from a mall and decapitating him, acknowledged what Adam's father has publicly argued all along: the case was botched.
