Dear Babe: What can you tell me about APBA game cards? Can you have them graded? -- Ryan N., Clarkston, Wash.You can get anything graded, but you don't see many APBA cards getting that treatment.

Dear Babe: I have a Hank Aaron bat that was given to me by a Braves player, who was a good friend. He suggested that I hang on to it, and one day it might be valuable. My friend, the Braves player, took it from the batting rack the year that Aaron broke Babe Ruth's home run record (1974).

Dear Babe: I have an O.J. Simpson print numbered 378 of 500 by K. Atkins. It shows Simpson with football in hand running and ready to make a cut. -- Bob R., Riverside, Calif.

Dear Babe: I have a set of cards 1991 Sporting News Conlon collection. It includes 11 members of the 1927 Yankees, Paul and Lloyd Waner, Kiki Cuyler, Red Ruffing, Hank Greenberg, Joe Medwick, Lefty O'Doul, Ernie Lombardi and Hack Wilson among others. -- Tim Skophammer, San Bernardino, Calif.

Dear Babe: After a recent trip to Cooperstown, I've decided to start collecting autographed Major League baseballs. My concern is the authentication of the signature. Is there a publication or other source that would be helpful in what to look for before purchasing an autographed baseball? Dear Babe: I have an autographed baseball from the Pittsburgh Pirates that was given to me by my father around 1963. He knew a lot of these guys through business relationships as a steel salesman in Pennsylvania. The signatures are deteriorating to some extent but most are still readable.

Dear Babe: In 1950 Charlie "Choo Choo'' Justice was the MVP of the College All-Stars vs. Philadelphia Eagles game. My father was a big North Carolina fan and "Choo Choo'' fan. Justice gave my father the jersey he wore in that All-Star game in which he was the MVP.

Dear Babe: Years ago, my husband and I jumped rope for the halftime entertainment at a Lakers-76ers game. The next night we performed at a Clippers-Celtics game. We had three young children back then and got T-shirts signed for all three.

Dear Babe: I just returned from New York and was able to see the Yankees play one last time in the old stadium. With so much being sold out there, what is something or things that would really be good to buy and collect representing the old stadium -- Something I can hand down to my son? -- Chris Quadagno, Newnan, Ga.

Dear Babe: I have a Daniel Moore Artists Proof (35/50) of Liberty given to me by my late father. It is in its original frame/matting with the official lithograph of the 1982 Liberty Bowl.
