Pro wrestling is a little less golden with the passing of the "Golden Greek."
John Tolos, one of grappling's top stars worldwide from the 1950s through the 1970s, died of kidney failure last Thursday in Woodland Hills, Calif. He was 78.

If World Wrestling Entertainment produced a greatest hits video package for Colin Delaney, he would be on the receiving end of all of them.
Delaney was grappling's version of a Timex watch during his eight-month stint in WWE's Extreme Championship Wrestling (10 p.m. Eastern, Tuesdays, SciFi Network). He took a licking and kept on ticking.

The CAC, a nonprofit group composed primarily of retired pro wrestlers, honored Roop recently at its annual banquet in Las Vegas. Roop was presented with the Lou Thesz Award for his technical prowess as a regional star throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
