Bay Pines sexual predator moves to Fort Myers
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office reported the following in a news release:
Pursuant to Florida Statute 775.21 the Public Safety Information Act of 1997, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making formal community notification of a sexual predator registered as residing in Lee County, as well as whether the victim was a minor or adult at the time of offense. We are hopeful that local media will assist in this process by broadcasting or printing the name, description, and photograph of the court designated predator.

Golden Gate football coach Tanner resigns after 1-win season
Golden Gate football coach Dave Tanner announced his resignation Friday, saying he wanted to take a break from coaching. After 34 years on the sidelines, five of them at Golden Gate, Tanner is taking a hiatus, but didn't say he was done for good. This season the Titans were just 1-9. Since becoming the school's first coach, Tanner went 18-34 at Golden Gate building the program from scratch.
