The Democrats now know they have their hands full with Sarah Palin. If there was any doubt that the self-proclaimed "hockey mom" governor of Alaska could hold her own in the national political arena, it was dispelled by her performance at the Republican National Convention.

he liberal Democrats are exposing their true colors with Sarah Palin. They're all for women's rights, women being successful and even being president — unless you are Republican and conservative.

Leftist ideologues like Joan Manning (Aug. 27), prideful of their sensitivity to nuances, typically engage in stereotyping. She tendentiously catalogs the vices of McCain voters, and the virtues of Obama voters. Why not simply declare: conservative Republicans are demons, Liberal Democrats are angels. That is simplistic, shallow thinking.
